Our Story
Nếp House was born with the mission of conveying messages of kindness and happiness to our guests. Nếp House will tell you little stories about Vietnamese villages through three materials: “Ceramic, embroidery, and wood.”.
Nếp House’s enthusiasm is expressed through each handmade product from traditional craft villages. Each room tells its own story through ancient glazed ceramic tiles, intricate embroidered paintings, and meticulously carved furniture from natural wood. It is a vivid and realistic picture of the rustic beauty of Vietnamese villages.
Nếp House was born for another great meaning, which is to help improve the lives of the local middle-aged women’s community, who are at an age when their working capacity is reduced, are unemployed, and are severely affected during the economic recession. Nếp House reached out to the embroiderers in the village, organized production, and purchased their output. Not only does it create jobs, but there is also a desire to maintain and preserve the village’s long-standing traditional embroidery craft. Each embroidered product is a work of art about the beauty of the Vietnamese countryside. Each stitch is meticulously hand-embroidered by artisans. That’s why Nếp House is always proud that all embroidered pictures decorated at the homestay are one of a kind works that cannot be found anywhere else.
It can be said that Nếp House was created by all the quintessences of Vietnamese nature and people. These are the quintessences of land, water, and time; the quintessences of skillful hands that are still working hard; and people who have devoted their whole lives to the traditional craft villages of their homeland.
Our inspiration

Nếp House is not just a place to stay but a true home, where our guests are welcomed like family members returning home after a long journey to have delicious meals, good nights' sleep, and more. Then, beautiful memories will remain forever in the hearts of every person who has ever set foot here.
Nếp exudes the rustic and homely beauty of the people, the space, and the surrounding landscape. Inspired by the essence of ""Rice"", Nếp House's layout tells stories about the Wet Rice Civilization in the Northern Delta of Vietnam.
With a desire to reviving and develop traditional craftsmanship villages that are progressively fading away, the materials used by Nếp House all exude the beauty of Bat Trang Pottery Village, Lang Van Embroidery Village, and Ngoc Than Carpentry Village, all were crafted by the skillful hands of artisans who have devoted their whole lives to the profession.
Every little corner of the house has its own story, but they all carry the same mission to bring lots of happiness, joy and spread human love and kindness to everyone in the world that Nếp House touches."
